Michael has been building and adapting equipment to make panoramic images and working as a specialist in Panoramic Photography for over 20 years. He is listed as a "freelance artist", which hides his special expertise and the numerous teaching posts he has held! Kodak is included amongst numerous bursaries and he has had exhibitions at The Photographers Gallery, London, The National Museum of Photography, Bradford, The Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican Centre, London.

"To consider the aesthetic and meaningful usage of extended imagery". Which now encompasses a new form of imaging - covering traditional Panorama techniques and moving into stitching with computer software through to 360 degree immersive "virtual reality" images which can be published on the Net

Panoramic photography is enjoying a boom at the moment, not least because of the proliferation of new formats and computer aided manipulations. Michael will demonstrate a number of very special panorama cameras, but will also show how self constructed cameras, and alternative craft such as seamless joiners with ordinary 35mm cameras, can provide inexpensive solutions.

There will be demonstrations of numerous software applications for making Panoramas and VR movies and of equipment and methods from one of the leading edge experts on this new technology from The Full Moon Group
